Sean Penn will promote the coca legalization

During the past meeting of Evo Morales, the president of Bolivia, with Sean Penn, the famous Hollywood actor, the last one was offered to act as an ambassador of this country in the questions of coca legalization.

It is widely known that Bolivian president is the long-standing supporter for the legalization of this drug containing plant. “The coca use is a part of a traditional Andes culture”, Morales repeatedly stated. To support his ideas, Morales organized the National day of chewing the coca leaves and left the organization of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of the United Nations.

“We explained Mr. Penn the historical and cultural value of using the leaves of coca and provided the arguments for the right of Bolivians on safety of this natural resource”, Ramon Kintata, the head of the administration of Bolivia president, commented on the situation.

It is unknown, how the actor reacted on the proposal of the president of Bolivia, however according to the local mass media, the citizens are sincerely happy and hope that Sean Penn will join their movement for coca legalization.
