Association that fights drug trafficking

The Anti drug Association of te Republic of Argentina (AARA) was born on November 1-st of 1999. That day, the argentinian vicepresident Carlos Alvarez has announces that the Secretariat for the Programming of the Drug Addiction Prevention (SEDRONAR) was disolved.

This decision was impeded with the priceless help of judges, foreign personalities and the Argentinian society.

In the beggining the AARA worked primarily at the Prevention and drug trafficking fight, as well as official institutions' management.

AARA was completely established on May 23-rd of 2003, when it was officially recognized as a non-lucrative NGO.
